The political science minor is most commonly paired with the major programs of criminology, communication, business, philosophy or economics. If you would like to develop a greater understanding of political science, then this minor is for you. With a political science minor you can choose courses in American government and politics, international politics, comparative politics, public administration, political theory and public law.

Students who minor in political science work in a variety of careers including local and state government, law, campaigns, business, non-profit, international relations, journalism and education.
