Dr. Michael R. Masterson
Dr. Michael Masterson's work sits at the intersection of international conflict and political psychology with an area focus on China. His current book project examines when political leaders use national humiliation narratives as a political strategy and the unintended effects of these narratives and the emotions they evoke on foreign policy preferences. Dr. Masterson uses a combination of experiments, machine learning, and case study methods in his research.
